National Association of Nigeria Students (NANS) extends her deepest sympathies to family of Comrade Alimi Abiodun (P.KA Biotainer)

Words may not suffice to express the heartfelt sorrow that I feel for the passing of our loved one.

National Association of Nigeria Students (NANS) extends her deepest sympathies to family of Comrade Alimi Abiodun (P.KA Biotainer) and the whole student community of Gateway Polytechnic Saapade on the demise of our very own. Also, we sympathize with the school management and wishes to reiterate our stand against the vandalization of the school properties; an unfortunate scene that was orchestrated by thugs and miscreants in the name of showing grievances. NANS or her members won’t be a party to such barbaric act.

Those we love can never be more than a thought away; for as long as there’s a memory, they live on in our hearts.

Having buried our comrade according to Islamic rites, it is a norm for candlelight procession to be held in his memory to pay our respects and there will be no exception on Fadabio’s death too as efforts are being made to ensure we have a peaceful procession that will not be marred by rancor or upheaval as this would bring more casualties, a scenario we want to avoid.

In retrospect, a date would be communicated to us in a very short while where the candle light procession will be held.

On that note, we implore every student to remain law abiding as the JCC frowns strongly at immortality and lack of discipline.

Our collective hearts are heavy with sympathy. Please accept our most heartfelt condolences.

Regards
