We’ve not called for Anambra survey blacklist, says IPOB

• Group cautions against theories

Native People of Biafra (IPOB) has said its order on lockdown of the Southeast from November 5 to 10 over Federal Government’s inability to deliver its chief, Nnamdi Kanu, steers clear of the November 6 governorship political decision in Anambra State.

The prohibited gathering said it had neither offered any authority expression nor required the blacklist of the survey.

In an assertion by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, IPOB said: “The worldwide development and group of the IPOB, capably drove by our incredible and tireless pioneer, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, wish to explain that in spite of hypotheses and coercion, IPOB has never offered any authority expression or required the blacklist of Anambra State governorship political race, coming up on November 6, 2021.

“It will, subsequently, be off-base for individuals to estimate or hawk lie against us when there is no reason for such.

“For lucidity, what we said was that the whole Biafra land would be secured from November 5 to November 10, 2021, if by November 4 the Federal Government neglects to deliver our chief, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, genuinely. Our position steers clear of Anambra political decision.

“All we wanted is the arrival of our chief who carried out no wrongdoing to be held never-endingly in authority. We have assembled, through insight, the plot by Nigerian Government to keep our innovator in confinement never-endingly through paltry court dismissals.

“We knew their abhorrent plans when they were killing their kindred government officials and pinning it on IPOB. They should let us be. Utilizing the online media to interface IPOB to Anambra political decision shows the vast majority of them are not educated with regards to plots by the Nigerian Government and her security agents to capture this political race and give it to whom they feel to consummate foundation of RUGA in Anambra State.

“However, that will not work for them, on the grounds that IPOB is in front of their course of action. We encourage media houses to be level headed in their reportage and crosscheck their realities. IPOB has never, whenever, called for blacklist of Anambra political decision. Media houses should quit distributing lies against us.”
